BIC Welcomes Occupants of Their Business Pavilion

Eindhoven, December 14, 2018 – An increasing part of the high-tech manufacturing industry descends on the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven. In addition to the factory spaces, the available office space is also in demand. For example, the Business Pavilion in the Atrium is almost fully let. “Even large international organisations approach us to participate in this ecosystem.”

The ‘Factory of the Future’, which opened on 1 September of this year, is now 75% leased to production companies in the high-tech manufacturing industry. Some companies continue to carry out their production processes elsewhere but have an office on campus and want to be part of this high-tech ecosystem. These companies are situated in the Atrium of the campus. This Business Pavilion has a surface area of 400 m2 and can be found on the second floor.

Sharing of facilities

Festo, Kieu Engineering, AMS Robotics, Ceratec Technical Ceramics, Brainport Industries, and Bogaerts & Greens are the residents of the Business Pavilion. These companies rent luxurious office spaces of around twenty square metres and share facilities such as a meeting room, pantry, consultation room and print service. “The offices are ideal for parties who are not moving their business processes to the campus but want to be under the same roof as their network,” says Bert-Jan Woertman, Director of the BIC. “They add value to the ecosystem of the campus with a hub branch.”

Important role

“With the Business Pavilion, we are offering even more companies the opportunity to have a physical presence on campus,” adds Ferdinand Gremmen, Director of Royal VolkerWessels company SDK Vastgoed. “Of course, we will remain the hotspot of the future for the high-tech manufacturing industry, but in addition to heavy machinery, smart logistics and other shared facilities, there is also a need for modern offices with all the associated facilities.”
