The Finnish ecosystems Fame Technologies and DIMECC Oy learned in Brainport Eindhoven how to build a well-functioning ecosystem. At the Brainport Industries Campus, Brainport Development and Brainport Industries showed the manufacturing and engineering companies the innovative way companies, knowledgde institutes and governement here work together on scaling additive manufacturing for industrial production.
Ruben Fokkema was honoured to welcome this group from Finland on Wednesday March 9. It was a valuable exchange between the finnish companies ANDRITZ, Citec Group, Delva, Elomatic Oy, Etteplan, Fastems, Valmet, Wärtsilä and Brainport companies Additive Center, Additive Industries, AM-Flow, Roffelsen Plastics , Hexagon PPM, Shapeways and CEAD Group, to expand further European collaboration between the promising ecosystems. “With a shortage on talent and raw materials, we need trusted partners to develop digital connected factories, distributed manufacturing and the use of bio based materials. With FAME a foundation of opportunity is now laid”.
