Software report signs for Brainport Industries Campus

The virtual prototype is an important application for the Factory of the Future and fits with Industry 4.0.

Since this week, 400 m2 in the Atrium of Brainport Industries Campus has been reserved for Softwareport, a young joint venture that helps hardware companies with virtual prototyping.

Softwareport is a joint venture of three Eindhoven-based companies that found each other through the High Tech Software Cluster: Festa Solutions, Cordis and Unit040. Softwareport offers total solutions to develop, test and modify a machine park without a physical prototype. The virtual prototype is an important application for the Factory of the Future and fits Industry 4.0.

Equal ambitions

Ruud de Bruijn of Softwareport: “When we decided to join forces, the need to be physically under one roof also arose. Establishing ourselves at Brainport Industries Campus follows the simple principle of living above the shop: we are literally close to the hardware companies that can start using our software. We also expect good cooperation and cross-pollination between our engineers. In the demo rooms that are realised under our office, we can also show our technology to the customer. Co-founder Benno Beuting: “The ambitions we have as Softwareport are completely in line with the ambition Brainport Industries Campus radiates.”
